Humayun's Tomb Delhi

Are you looking for information of Humayun's tomb / fort in Delhi? If so, here you go for it. I got an opportunity to visit over there after a short official trip over recently. I am neither Moghul ruler favor nor against. This post is made just to share and enjoy the travel experience around.

Humayun's Tomb is located in Nizamuddin area, Mathura Road, and it was one of the historical monument of once King Humayun (Moghul rulers) and his family members. It was designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas, a Persian architect. This place has currently undertaken and maintained well by Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), Govt of India. Indian has to pay Rs 10 (current price) whereas foreigners has to pay around Rs 500 as an entry fee. It is worth to visit and see them.

Instead of explaining about Humayun Tomb in Delhi, it is better to visit and experience the legacy of old monument, architect and design etc.

How to reach Humayun Tomb in Delhi

The well known landmark near Humayun's Tomb is Hazrath Nizamuddin Markaz or Dargah, Mathura Road. If you reach Nizamuddin railway station in Delhi south, you may then ask any auto driver or rickshaw fellows to drop them over there. They may charge reasonable price for it. Humayun's Tomb is approx 2 kms from Nizamuddin railway station.
