Moghul Durbar hotels, as per name, it serves the purpose. Moghul Durbar is a very simple looking restaurant which is located in Tilak Nagar, Jayanagar, Bangalore. The nearest landmark is Sagar Apollo Hospital or Swagath Garuda Mall. This hotel served North Indian and South Indian dishes. This is one of the cheap and best hotels for quality dining. 

There is separate area for family dining. Whenever I pass by this area then I am normally taking parcel of a Biryani, Dry Pepper chicken, Ghee rice and Grilled Chicken which has always been mouth watering. Moghul Durbar helps its customer with Zeera rice made Biryani (not Basmati rice varieties), however, this hotel produces one of the best Chicken and Mutton varieties beside outstanding and medium spicy Biryanis in Bangalore. I like Briyani from this hotel after Rahhms in Frazer town.

Stop, you will get Vegetarian starter and food as well in this hotel, so, Veg lover also can enjoy this hotel for varieties of dishes and Ice cream varieties. I am recommending this hotel above average just because of the cleanliness as well. 

It is a heaven for meat lovers! If you are searching for true Mughlai taste, this is the right place for you. Food is full of flavor and taste. Try their Chicken varieties including broasted chicken or grilled one or Tandoori one or Kabab one beside Biryanis, they are truly mouth watering. Try to visit once and it will become one of your favorite places. 

The interior isn't impressive but is simple and clean; since it is hygienic atmosphere then it is OK. You will observe on the entrance itself that the takeaway area is crowded. I would like to dine in here with my friends or parents as it is the place one can take ample time and enjoy delicious dine in with near and dear. Since this is the cheap and tasty food available hotel thus one has to go and wait in case if they found crowd or one has to go within time limit in order to avoid disappointment on food over scenario. I also suggest you take away from here to enjoy the food at home with relax. 

The Mutton Biryani is cooked with Zeera rice with tender meat which let you feel like a tasty and food heaven, and is kind of like an Ambur style Biryani. The food quantities are big and worth the money. Except rare case, service is normally quick and the waiters are friendly though they always let us feel like they're in a hurry. This place is great for a quick, tasty and inexpensive lunch/dinner.

The restaurant is not hard to find but some says it, however, one can find this restaurant near the well known location or landmark called Sagar Apollo Hospital or near Swagath Garuda shopping mall. The nearby area is Tilak Nagar, Jayanagar 4^th T Block, Bangalore Dairy, Bannerghatta Road, Sanjay Gandhi Hospital etc. This hotel is although has an average look and ambience to it. Once you had the food you won't stop visiting this place specially when you are on a low budget. I must recommend this place when you are looking for budget Moghlai foods in Bangalore. Must try.

Menu (choice): 4 on 5, Veg, Non-Veg and Chinese food available.

Food: 4 on 5, I often visit this hotel and fell in love with their Ghee rice, Dry Pepper Chicken and Mutton Biryani.  They serve good starters of Chicken, Mutton and Veg too. There were/are many hotels as competitors for them but they opened and failed / closed it. Hard to beat Moghul Durbar.

Service: 3 on 5, it's good but somehow they always end up serving ice creams or drinks after main course.

Pricing: 4 on 5, it's acceptable. Mid range. 

Ambience: 3 on 5, it looks a little old and OK now.

Parking: 2 on 5, except bike, cars needs to park opposite road to the hotel and walk up.

Will I recommend: Yes

- Vehicle parking issues
- Few dishes tastes Average 

- Overcrowded during lunch and dinner time and have to wait
